Manufacturing Epoxy in Los Angeles.
Manufacturing-floor epoxy and urethane cement systems for assembly lines, machine shops, fabrication, and any environment where heavy machinery, thermal shock, and chemical exposure live.
What manufacturing epoxy actually is.

Manufacturing-floor epoxy and urethane cement systems for assembly lines, machine shops, fabrication, and any environment where heavy machinery, thermal shock, and chemical exposure live.
The system
- High-build epoxy (40-80 mils) for impact resistance
- Urethane cement for thermal-shock environments
- Static-dissipative options for electronics manufacturing
- Color-coded zoning for safety and workflow
What it costs
Chemical exposure, traffic load, and the prep the existing slab needs decide the system spec. Square footage and off-hours scheduling do the rest. Every proposal is fixed-price.
How long it takes
Five to fifteen working days.
How long it lasts
15-25 years.
Where this fits
Light and heavy manufacturing, assembly lines, machine shops, fabrication shops, electronics manufacturing.
How a manufacturing epoxy floor actually gets poured.

01 Walkthrough
Owner on site. Moisture test of the slab. Photos of existing cracks. Palette options walked in person. Proposal in your inbox next morning.

02 Diamond grind
Surface prep to CSP-3 profile, HEPA vacuum, rapid-set polyurea on crack lines, re-grind. Where every floor lives or dies.

03 Pour
Resin mixed on site, broadcast or swirled to match the system. Signature work happens here. Notched-trowel finish before the working window closes.

04 Topcoat
Polyaspartic or polyurethane within the resin chemical window. Walkable 24 hours, full traffic 72 hours. Written job spec before we leave.
Where we install manufacturing epoxy.
We pour manufacturing epoxy across all of our service areas: Los Angeles County, Orange County, the Inland Empire, San Diego County, Ventura County, Kern County, and Santa Barbara County. The system itself is the same across cities. Substrate prep adjusts to local concrete age and moisture conditions.
Orange County
Inland Empire & beyond
Three rules we do not break on a manufacturing epoxy install.
Most of what separates a coating that lives 15 years from one that fails at year three is decided on prep day, before any resin gets mixed. Here is what we will not skip, regardless of project budget.

01. Calibrated moisture testing
Calcium chloride or relative-humidity sleeve test on every manufacturing epoxy substrate before we order resin. If the vapor emission rate is above manufacturer spec, we apply a moisture-mitigation primer at our cost rather than gamble on the topcoat bond. Skipping this is the most common cause of the failed coatings we get called in to re-prep.

02. Diamond grind to spec
CSP-3 minimum for residential manufacturing epoxy, CSP-4 for high-build commercial. Shot blasting and acid etching are cheaper shortcuts that fail the resin manufacturer’s adhesion spec. We grind, HEPA-vacuum, polyurea-fill every visible crack, and re-grind. The prep day is the day the floor lives or fails.

03. Spec sheet with the resin maker named
Every manufacturing epoxy proposal we write names the resin manufacturer, the topcoat product, the substrate prep depth, the cure window, and the maintenance schedule. If a competitor’s proposal does not name these, you are buying on faith, not specs. Full liability and workers’ comp on every job.
Questions before the call.
What does manufacturing epoxy cost in Los Angeles?
Residential pricing for manufacturing epoxy in the Los Angeles market typically runs between the ranges quoted on our service pages, with the exact number determined by substrate condition, finish system, and square footage. Commercial pricing is always project-specific.
Book the walkthrough first; it is free and takes around 30 minutes. By the next morning you will have a fixed-price proposal in your inbox, written so there are no change orders in the middle of the pour.
How long does manufacturing epoxy take to install?
A standard residential pour runs two to three working days from prep to final topcoat. Larger residential or commercial pours can run four to fifteen days depending on system spec, substrate condition, and square footage.
You can walk on it 24 hours after the last coat of polyaspartic goes down. Give it 72 hours before vehicles or heavy equipment roll on it.
How long will my manufacturing epoxy last?
The base layer is meant to stay where we put it. Resinous systems form a chemical bond with the substrate, and a residential install is engineered to keep that adhesion for the life of the floor.
The part that wears is the topcoat. On a residential floor that gets heavy use, plan to refresh the polyaspartic around year 8 to 12; the resin under it stays put. Commercial resin layers usually run 10 to 25 years, depending on traffic and chemistry.
Can you match a specific color?
Any color works in metallic epoxy, since the pigments mix across the full spectrum. Just-black and mother-of-pearl are both floors we have poured.
The pre-blended flake packs cover a lot of ground, and when they miss, we build a custom blend. Quartz runs 14 standard colors before custom mixing. Decorative concrete takes color two ways, integral during the pour or a topical stain post-cure.
How does the install process actually work?
It ends with you and us on the floor together for a final inspection, and a written job spec in your hands before the crew leaves. Getting there takes four stages: the walkthrough and a moisture test, then diamond grinding to CSP-3 with any crack repair, then the pour and broadcast, and last the polyaspartic topcoat.
What happens after the floor is poured?
Keep the written job spec we hand you at the final walk. If the gloss layer ever needs a refresh, that sheet tells us what is already on the floor.
Day to day it cleans with a damp mop, which is all the upkeep the system asks for. You will not be buying wax or booking a resealing crew.
What makes Concrete 2 Coatings different from other contractors?
Look at a coating that failed early and you will usually find a prep step that got skipped. Ours does not change from job to job: diamond grinding to a CSP-3 profile, a HEPA vacuum pass, then a second grind, with the owner on site. Add licensing and training across resin, decorative concrete and structural work, which most LA shops never take on.
