- Wipe oil and brake fluid promptly. The polyaspartic topcoat resists automotive chemistry, but standing brake fluid over weeks can still etch the gloss. A shop rag handles it in seconds.
- Put felt pads under jack stands and floor jacks. Point-loaded steel can scratch any coating. A scrap of plywood or a rubber mat under a project car protects the finish during long jobs.
That is the entire maintenance routine. No waxing, no buffing, no annual reseal the way a stamped patio needs. The topcoat is the wear layer, and on a normal residential garage it lasts 8 to 12 years before it wants a refresh screen-and-recoat.
